MISSION-DRIVEN Abmitions

We Are Committed to Preserving the history, helping overcome social Challenges, and Promoting Education

From 1932 to 1965 Robert Moton High School has a rich history of providing education in the face of disparaging social inequalities.  Students traveled from all corners of Carroll County by using a community network of families which eventually lead to buying a used bus for the students.  The school remained open until 1965 where segregation of public schools was made illegal by the Supreme Court Brown vs Board of Education in 1954.  The former students and friends of Robert Moton High School are proud of the accomplishments of the alumni and honor the principles, teachers and support staff that enriched their experience.
